OUR CODE OF PRACTICE

All our babysitters:

√ are personally interviewed
√ have an enhanced DBS check (used to be CRB)
√ must provide the names of two referees, from whom references are obtained
√ are experienced in childcare (either with a formal qualification or experienced gained through having children of their own)
√ over 21 years old and have a warm, friendly disposition
√ have their own transport
√ understand the importance of discretion

We have an excellent track record – top hotels in the New Forest and surrounding towns/cities recommend us and we have a large private client base who can also vouch for us.

RECRUITMENT

We carry out very careful recruitment of our sitters and look for a background involving children.

Many of our sitters work with children during the day and have childcare qualifications.  Daytime jobs include – Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses, Nannies, Ofsted Registered Childminders, Maternity Nurses and Special Needs Classroom Assistants.  Others are mothers or grandmothers with years of experience and all our sitters have been thoroughly vetted.

REASSURANCE

A reassuring service – we always try to provide clients with a sitter most closely matched to their requirements. When sitters are requested on consecutive nights, we try to ensure that the same sitter returns. Although this is not always possible, we are confident that all our sitters will provide the standards of reassurance that parents deserve and should expect.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS

We can usually step in to arrange last minute babysitting.

We receive many calls from parents who have been let down at the last minute by their regular sitter or a family member. Although it can't be guaranteed, we try very hard to be able to secure a sitter, even at short notice.
