About us
Ladysitters has been providing a reliable, trustworthy and professional babysitting service since 2006. Based in the New Forest we cover areas within a 20 mile radius of Romsey, Hampshire plus Wareham & Studland. Ladysitters provides childcare in your home, hotel room or whilst you are on holiday in an apartment/holiday let.
We also provide a crèche service for weddings, funerals, family reunions and other functions. Primarily we offer evening babysitting but with prior notice, we can occasionally help during the day.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Philippa Luckhurst owns and runs the company. A former nanny with 25 years' childcare experience, she is passionate about children and their development.
Many parents don’t have a family support network close by to help with babysitting. Philippa understands how stressful it is leaving your children for the first time, especially with someone you don't know. That is why she personally interviews all the babysitters herself and is committed to recruiting only the most suitable sitters – qualified, experienced, reassuring, and thoroughly capable. With a rigorous vetting procedure, parents can be confident that their children will be safe, happy and secure with a babysitter who has been matched as closely as possible to their family needs.
